Some nights are planned. Others become part of the story. There is something about October that changes the atmosphere. The days become shorter. The evenings become colder. The familiar starts to feel unfamiliar, and with the arrival of Halloween comes a certain freedom—a permission to step outside of the world we know and become someone, or something, else. For one evening, we dress differently. We will stay out later. We gather with friends, strangers, and people we may have never met before and somewhere between the music, the laughter, the lights, and the late hours, we create stories simply by being together.

This year, Les Biaute is creating its own legacy.

On October 24, step into the night with After Dark: The Beginning—a Halloween experience built around atmosphere, music, food, fire, fashion, and the unpredictable energy that makes October unlike any other time of the year. This is not an event, its an experience It is an introduction. An introduction to a night that hasn't happened yet. An introduction to the people who will fill it. An introduction to the memories that, for now, exist only in imagination.

Les Biaute has always existed at the intersection of fashion, beauty, culture, and society, but a magazine can only capture so much on a page.

here is something different about experiencing a world rather than simply reading about it.

After Dark brings Les Biaute beyond the pages and into the night—a space where readers, creatives, friends, familiar faces, and complete strangers can find themselves in the same place, if only for a few hours.The pages become real. The photographs become memories and the people become part of the story.

For one night, everyone arrives with a different story to tell. When speaking about the evening, the host offered a simple thought:

“It is to create something people feel and experience.”

And perhaps that is the best way to describe what After Dark hopes to become.

Not something people simply attend but something they feel. Something they photograph without thinking twice. Something they talk about the next morning while remembering the moments that happened after midnight. Something that stays with them long after the music stops and the lights come back on.

Because the most memorable nights are rarely remembered for every detail. They are remembered for a feeling. It may be the person you met, the song that came on at the perfect moment, the laughter that lasted too long, the cold October air, the warmth of the fire, and the moment when you looked around and realized—

“this is going to be a night I remember.” Some nights end when the sun comes up and others stay with you long after. No one knows what it will become yet.

Inside the Experience: A Conversation With the Host

What can guests expect when they walk through the doors of After Dark?

Honestly, I want the first impression to feel completely different from a traditional Halloween party. When guests arrive, they’ll be welcomed into the lobby, where they can settle into the atmosphere and enjoy a complimentary sip of champagne. It’s our way of welcoming everyone into the evening before the experience really begins.

So the champagne is the introduction to the night?

Exactly. It’s almost like the first chapter. You walk in, receive your champagne, take in the surroundings, and then you realize there’s much more waiting for you beyond the lobby.

And that’s where Cold Hell comes in?

Yes. We wanted to have a little fun with the idea of Cold Hell. The patio is going to become our escape from it. There will be a dramatic bonfire pit from “Hell,” along with scenery and an atmosphere where guests can step outside, cool down, enjoy appetizers, have a drink, take pictures, and spend time with each other.

I really want the patio to feel like its own part of the experience—not simply somewhere to go outside, but somewhere you actually want to be.

And then guests make their way to Heaven?

Yes. That’s where things take a turn.

Once you head upstairs, the atmosphere changes completely. You’re leaving Hell behind and going up to Heaven—and that’s where the dance floor is waiting.

The music gets louder, the energy changes, the lights come alive, and that becomes the place to really let go and enjoy the night.

So there’s almost a story to the entire event?

That was the intention from the beginning. I didn't want people to simply walk into a room with Halloween decorations and a DJ. I wanted them to feel like they were moving through an experience.

You arrive and have champagne. You experience Hell. You escape to the patio. Then you make your way upstairs to Heaven and end up on the dance floor.

What do you hope people take away from After Dark?

I want people to leave saying, “I've never been to a Halloween event like that before.”

For me, it's about creating those little moments that people remember—the first champagne when they arrive, seeing the bonfire outside, taking photos with friends, discovering the upstairs, hearing that first song on the dance floor.

Those are the things that become stories later.

If you could describe After Dark in one sentence, what would it be?

I would say:

“You enter the night as a guest, descend into Hell, and dance your way into Heaven.”

And that's really what After Dark is.

Not just a Halloween party. A night you experience.
