THE OPPORTUNITY

Les Biauté is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and creatively driven Editorial Coordinator to support editorial operations, content development, and publication workflows across its digital and editorial platforms.

This position plays an essential role in coordinating editorial schedules, supporting content production, and ensuring the timely delivery of compelling stories that reflect the creative vision and editorial standards of Les Biauté.

Working closely with the Editor-in-Chief and cross-functional teams, the Editorial Coordinator helps maintain editorial consistency, streamline publication processes, and support the development of content across fashion, beauty, culture, and society.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Editorial Operations & Content Coordination

• Coordinate editorial calendars, publication schedules, and content deadlines.

• Track article assignments, editorial submissions, revisions, and approvals.

• Support the preparation, organization, and publication of editorial content.

• Maintain accurate editorial records, contributor information, and content documentation.

• Assist with fact-checking, proofreading, and quality-control processes.

• Editorial Development & Research

• Conduct research to support editorial features, interviews, and special projects.

• Assist with identifying relevant topics, cultural trends, and potential editorial opportunities.

• Coordinate interview schedules, contributor communications, and editorial requests.

• Support the development of editorial briefs, story outlines, and content proposals.

• Assist with writing or editing editorial content when assigned and approved by the Editor-in-Chief.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with Creative & Production to coordinate imagery, layouts, and editorial assets.

• Work with Marketing & Communications to align publication schedules with promotional initiatives.

• Coordinate editorial requirements for events, special features, and brand collaborations.

• Ensure editorial materials are organized and delivered according to established production timelines.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Required Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational abilities and exceptional attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple editorial assignments and meet publication deadlines.

• Strong research, proofreading, and editorial coordination skills.

• Familiarity with digital publishing, content management, and collaborative workflows.

• Demonstrated interest in fashion, beauty, culture, media, and storytelling.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education or professional experience in Journalism, English, Communications, Publishing, or a related discipline.

• Experience in editorial coordination, content production, journalism, or digital publishing.

• Familiarity with editorial style guides, content management systems, and publishing tools.

• Experience coordinating interviews, freelance contributors, or editorial projects.

• A portfolio demonstrating writing, editing, research, or editorial work.

Employment Type: Part-Time

Work Arrangement: Hybrid — Remote & In-Person

Schedule: 20–25 hours per week

Compensation: $23.00–$26.00 per hour

Schedule flexibility may be required to accommodate publication deadlines, editorial assignments, interviews, and special projects. Additional hours will be communicated in advance.
